The Store just got some new stuff all up in it!

First is the third collection of channelate comics! It’s called  “You Used to Be Funnier”.

Book3-a

It collects comics from 2012 and only the best comics of 2011.  It’s also the first channelate book to be a big sexy square. It’s 110 pages  in full color.  There’s a bonus section and a Q&A at the end. Also, there are a handful of little extra comics that run across the bottom of some pages.

I’m really excited about this book. It turned out better than I could have hoped for. Pre-order it and get a free channelate can koozie with your order.  I will order only a handful of extra books for ECCC and will sell what ever is left on the site after. So if you want ensure you get a copy, please order during the pre-order if you can. http://channelate.bigcartel.com/product/you-used-to-be-funnier

Book1-a

And finally, after getting a few requests over the past couple years, I am getting a small run of the first book “Men’s Room Small Talk” reprinted. It costs only $9! It’s 128 pages in black and white. It collects the comics from the first year and a half of the strip. As with the others, the pre-order comes with a koozie. http://channelate.bigcartel.com/product/men-s-room-small-talk

So there you have it. If you enjoy the comics I make, picking up something from the store is a great way to support the effort and get something in return!  2012 was my first entire year of doing channelate full time. It was a crazy year and I couldn’t have done it without all you great SOB’s that read and spread the comics.

If you don’t want anything from the store, you can always support the comic by telling people about it.

Your Willing Abductee.

I posted to the Channelate FB page asking for some prompts to get the juices flowing on a new song. This is the result of that. It’s a love song about someone who’s in love with the alien who had previously abducted them.  I really want to get good at writing music, so I can start incorporating music videos in to the comic more. But for me, doing comedy in music form is still a struggle, so this will be a fun exercise if I can stick with it. I’m happy with the way this short song turned out. I’m still a total noob when it comes to mixing and mastering, but I think I did a better job than on the song I did in January. Though, after going back and listening to that first one, I thought it was funny that this new one is in the same key. I guess I need to venture out on the next one.

Anycrap, enjoy.
